Now is the time to recall them all and nominate them for the Civil Society Doers of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations are open in nine categories until 4 December via this online <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=scbCFitUrkWY70Z13DTC1NRdeCOFwnRNpcBZDR_1x8dUMUpQNkY0V1BCNFNLWklaWkxLOTk5VERXSy4u&amp;route=shorturl\">form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NGO of the Year<\/strong>, an organisation that is a role model, an outstanding doer and motivator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Act of the Year<\/strong>, which can be nominated as the most significant change in civil society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Missionary of the Year<\/strong>, the person who does good things with heart, soul and mind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Volunteer of the Year<\/strong>, who has consistently contributed to the development of Estonian society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Volunteers engager of the Year<\/strong>, a person who has consistently and thoughtfully mentored, inspired and engaged volunteers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public Authorities Representative of the Year<\/strong>, an institution or a person who has supported civil society activities and the overall development of the voluntary sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Company of the Year<\/strong>, whether social enterprise or not, but certainly one that is more than a sponsor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Voice of the Year<\/strong>, who has made important civil society issues and voluntary sector&#8217;s opinion on it&#8217;s solution heard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Network of the Year<\/strong>, a community that may be small on the outside but great and mighty on the inside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners will be selected by a panel of experts in the field from the nominations received by the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards will be handed over by President Alar Karis at a ceremony in February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>NENO has been awarding the Civil Society Doers of the Year since 1996 and the Volunteers of the Year since 2005.
