Протестантская организация развития Bread for the World ищет консультанта по планированию, надзору и оцениванию в центрально-азиатскую контору, которая расположена в столице Кыргызстана Бишкеке.

ACT Alliance is a coalition of more than 130 churches and affiliated organisations working together in 140 countries to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of poor and marginalised people regardless of their religion, politics, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality in keeping with the highest international codes and standards.

ACT Central Asia is represented by Dan Church Aid, ICCO and Bread for the World and its local partners in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia and Kazakhstan. Together the program “Central Asia on the Move” was developed which aims at promoting inclusive citizenship as well as civic and social rights to internal migrants and external migrants from Central Asia and their families.

The consultant will mainly work for the 25 member organizations. The candidate will be based at the ACT-Office in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) along with the staff of Dan Church Aid and ICCO. The office also accommodates the committee of the ACT-Forum. 

Job scope

  • Participation in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects and in the development of guidelines and methods
  • Collaboration towards the optimization of the project outcome for the 25 member organizations
  • Introduction and optimization of quality standards and project evaluation tools
  • Training the staff of member organisations in planning, monitoring and evaluation
  • Customizing planning, monitoring and evaluation instruments for the 25 member organisations
  • Monthly reporting about project status and results to the committee of the ACT- Forum
  • Preparedness to travel in the region

Qualification profile

  • Completed university or equivalent degree in social science; preferably course specializations in international relationships and management of NGOs
  • Minimum of five-years work experience with NGOs in project management
  • Professional experience in process optimization
  • Fluent in Russian and English
  • Work- or Life experience in Central Asia
  • First work experience in training of adults

The citizenship of an EU Member State is required.
